How to Assign a Priority Video
In this guide, we'll walk you through how to assign a video as a priority video from your library. Priority videos are great way to make sure important content is seen right away by the employees who need it most.
1. Go to the Library
Log into Tyfoom and navigate to the Library page.
2. Select the Video
Click on the video you want to assign as a Priority Video.
3. Go to the Assign Section
On the video page, scroll down to the Assign section.
4. Choose Assign as Priority
5. Set the Start Date
Select the Start Date for the assignment.
Starting on the date selected here, the video will be added next in the employee’s queue. If multiple videos are assigned on the same date, the first one assigned will play, and the others will be added to the queue to play next. Employees will still only receive one video that day.
If the Start Date falls on a day the employee is not normally scheduled to receive a video, it will not assign on that day — it will simply be next up in their queue starting from that date.
6. Set an Optional Expiration Date
You can also set an expiration date.
If an expiration date is set:
The video will be removed from the queue for anyone who has not watched it by that date.
This includes employees who were previously assigned the video but did not complete it.
7. Select Employees
Choose who in your company should receive this video.
8. Confirm Assignment
Click Assign as Priority Video to complete the assignment.
