Tyfoom Forms: Conditional Questions

This guide will walk you through the steps to Conditional Questions using Tyfoom.


1. Existing and New Forms

You can add conditional questions to an already existing form or a brand new form. You need to be editing the draft version of either form in order to do so.

2. Section Names

At the top of each section, you can give it a custom named section. These are meant to help you apply the conditional logic.

3. Conditional Icon

To add conditional logic to this a question we click on the "Conditionally Show Sections" icon.

4. Conditionally Shown Sections

A small pop-up will appear with the names of the other sections in the form.

5. Pop up Instructions

The pop-up details that if this question's answer is selected, the selected sections will appear to who is filling out the form. Otherwise, they will be hidden.

6. Viewing Conditional Sections

After selecting which sections apply to that answer, they will change color and indicate that they are conditional upon that answer.

1. Opening a Form

When they start, they only see non-conditional questions.

2. Additional Questions Appear

As they select one of the options, additional questions appear.

3. Additional Required Questions

They will see that these additional sections are also required, but they're only required if shown.

4. Submit Form

Once all required questions are answered, they can submit the form.
