Effective: May 28th, 2025
A correction is being made to how the Tyfoom Success Rating (TSR) is calculated to more accurately reflect each employee’s ongoing engagement with training.
Previously, the TSR did not automatically decrease when someone stopped watching training videos. It only updated after training activity resumed. As a result, a TSR could remain high even if an employee had not completed recent video assignments.
With this correction, the TSR will be recalculated daily based on whether a training video was received and completed. The score is being recalculated as if this daily check had been running all along. Which means any missed training days in the past will now factor into the current TSR—even if the person hasn’t reengaged yet.
If training videos are missed, the TSR will gradually decrease.
If videos are consistently completed, the TSR will remain strong.
When someone reengages after a break, their TSR will begin to improve.
Some individuals may notice a drop in their TSR due to one or more late and incomplete video trainings that are still assigned. These missed assignments now factor into the daily TSR calculation and may lower the score until they are completed.
For those with missed assignments, there is a quick way to give their score a boost:
Complete all currently assigned videos, even if they are late. This will immediately improve the TSR by removing overdue items from the calculation.
Stay current going forward by watching each new daily video when it becomes available.
The TSR rewards consistency. Getting caught up and staying engaged will steadily raise the score over time.
